Use a reputable shipping company that provides shipment tracking and adequate insurance for the full value of the equipment.

3. Do Not Skimp on Packing Materials

Spending a little more on boxes, packing peanuts, padding, tape, and protective materials can prevent expensive damage during transit.

Packages Are Not Handled Gently

Your package may be handled, dropped, stacked, and transferred multiple times. Pack it as though shippers will throw the box like a football.

4. Avoid the Claims Process

Shipping claims can take weeks or even months to settle. Think about the value of your time and the inconvenience caused by damaged equipment.

It is better to use too much protection than not enough. Package the equipment extremely well.

5. Record a Video Before Packing

Before packaging the equipment, record a clear video showing that it is working properly.

This video can provide important evidence of the equipment’s condition if you need to file a shipping claim.
