- VS2 - unknown year
- Pureline Anesthesia machine with oxygen concentrator
- 2022 Dental scaling machine with two handpieces
- Microscope
- Centrifuge: The centrifuge does not say the manufacture year but it works great.
- Large dog scale

- Exam table
- Anesthesia machine with oxygen concentrator

- No cages - While the unit does not currently have cages installed, they can easily be added to suit your practice needs
Please note: X-ray plate is not included, but I will gladly share tips during your consultation on where and how to get a quality system at a great price.
The X-ray table is mobile and can be rotated as needed so you can take v/d Xray standing on either side. There are size limitations with any portable unit, as the generator is not powerful enough to adequately penetrate larger dogs. Standard hospital X-ray machines in a hospital have a higher kVp, allowing for better imaging of large patients.
I am comfortable taking X-rays on dogs up to approximately 80-90 pounds, though I have successfully imaged the limbs of dogs up to around 120 pounds.
Additional Highlights:
- Fully solar-powered, off-grid setup
- All systems operate via solar (including X-ray, dental and surgical procedures—no need to plug in!)
- Predator Generator purchased 9/24/25 2 year warranty 2 yr in store extended warranty purchased Harbor Freight. (used only for additional AC; essential for warm climates like California)
- Hot and cold running water
- Supplemental heater and AC (powered by generator when needed)
- The new truck engine has a three-year warranty that expires in June of 2028 that is transferable.

This mobile veterinary clinic was custom-designed and built by my father, an architect, with both functionality and efficiency in mind. Unlike standard La Boit units, this build is fully off-grid and only requires a generator for supplemental air conditioning in extremely hot climates.
Despite its compact 22-foot design, the unit is thoughtfully laid out and includes a fully equipped surgery suite—making it a versatile and efficient workspace without compromising on capability.
After running a successful mobile practice for the past three years, I can confidently say that having a mentor at the start would have been invaluable. There are countless lessons I’ve learned—from managing inventory and selecting the most useful diagnostic equipment to choosing the right software, structuring appointments, pricing services, and building strong client communication systems.
Transitioning to mobile practice has dramatically improved my quality of life, and it helped me rediscover the joy in practicing veterinary medicine. If you're considering this path, I’d be happy to share insights and guidance to help set you up for long-term success.
In addition to the custom-built mobile clinic, I’ve had the benefit of working alongside a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who travels with me for both housecalls and surgical procedures. Having an experienced assistant on board has made a significant difference—not only in workflow and patient care but also in the clinic’s overall profitability. Operating solo can be limiting both logistically and financially, so having support is key.
While the unit does not currently have cages installed, they can easily be added to suit your practice needs. Personally, I choose not to use cages—I recover patients comfortably with blankets and return them to their families as soon as they are awake and stable. My anesthesia protocol supports smooth, rapid recoveries, making for a calm and efficient transition back to the owner.
