Reason for Sale: Scaling back size of business - surplus to requirements

I’m selling this vehicle because I’m transitioning back to solo practice and already own a LaBoit, so I no longer need a second unit.

Last Use: July 4, 2025, for appointments. Since then, I haven’t been driving it much so it stays fresh and clean for you.

Power Setup: The van does not have a generator. It runs on a 12-volt battery bank with an inverter (see photos). For higher power needs—such as running X-rays, heat, or A/C—I simply leave the engine running to provide extra power.

Maintenance:

Tires replaced in June 2023 at ~59,000 miles.

Brakes replaced in March 2023 at ~57,600 miles.

Mileage: Most recent odometer reading was 65,400 miles in July 2025.

Veterinary Retrofit:

  • Cabinetry - effectively 4 sections of cabinetry/countertops
  • Two kennels built under stainless steel exam table - has a divider that can be removed to make one, large kennel.
  • Attached to a center cabinet with two drawers, a section of open shelving and a closed cabinet where an x-ray generator can be stored.
  • A small section of cabinetry with open shelving and counter top where microscope is currently attached.
  • A wet sink with under sink shelving at the front and stainless steel grate and solid tops to convert to an exam/ surgery table.
  • Cabinetry and tall countertop in rear containing some open shelving, a mini fridge and the anesthesia machine is bolted to it.
  • 2 bench seats with storage over the rear wheels.
  • 3 drawer wooden storage container velcroed to a counter
  • Stored Under counter, portable (AA batteries) Redmon XL scale with separate read out - 330# weight limit. Carry bag also available.
  • Feline/Baby scale - battery operated

Anesthesia based items:

  • Isoflurane Anesthesia machine - last serviced July 2023 - only hasn’t been serviced since as I was on sabbatical when it was due last year and have only just returned and haven’t gotten it scheduled yet for it’s inspection/service
  • 2 E-tanks of oxygen - one unused, the other hooked up but has been minimally used. A spare regulator in the van.
  • Drip Assist fluid monitoring device - not a fluid pump, but can be set to help count the drip rate and calculate amount of fluids dispensed.
  • 1 of every size e-tube up through size 10. Some used and washed, some new in package.
  • 1 bottle of Isoflurane
  • 2 adult rebreather circuits
  • Full set of rebreathing bags 1/2-3L
  • Anesthesia cone for flow by oxygen
  • F/Air canister and set up for waste gas collection - one new in addition
  • Suntech BP monitor with protective cover and all sizes of BP cuffs 1-6. BP and heart rate
  • Leading Edge Sentinel-V 3025i multi-parameter anesthesia monitor and all peripherals except the ETCO2 - machine is set up for for ETCO2 monitoring, but I just don’t have that with this machine

Surgical based items:

  • 1 flat metal surgical tray
  • 1 higher sided pack tray
  • A Neuter/ laceration surgical pack
  • A major sx pack
  • Sm, Med, Lg reusable/ autoclave-able fabric surgical drapes.

DENTISTRY:

  • ART magnet micromotor ultrasonic scaler and polisher - built into the van water supply

Miscellaneous:

• Small Refrigerator with small freezer installed in van - runs on shore power, inverter/battery power or front end alternator power when driving.

• Sling for big dogs - used, like new

• Cloth stretcher - marketed to carry up to 250# (though that seems a bit much to me) has been used maybe once, like new

• Corded dremel

• Some towels and blankets

• One full set of med/Lg/XL nylon cat sacks with underside zippers for restraint but also access for blood draws/nail trims for all four feet

• Portable heater

X-Ray Items:

• 2 x-ray gowns • 1 thyroid collar • One pair of x-ray mitts • Jorgensen V-trough/x-ray positioner - medium size • Jorgensen V-trough/x-ray positioner - large size • Min X-ray HF 100+ x-ray generator - manufactured in 2016.

Certified in Oregon through Feb 2026 • Perkin Elmer wireless x-ray plate with 2 rechargeable batteries and charger • Laptop with Min X-ray software on it. Laptop is running old windows software which is no longer supported for security patches but it still runs the x-ray software fine.

It is recommended not to attach it to the internet just in case since it’s no longer protected by the Window’s firewall etc. I have been told that you can buy a new laptop directly from Min X-ray for about $5k that will have the software on it and some level of support that will allow you to get back to “current”.

I have not replaced the laptop yet since I have not used it for client films since before my sabbatical.

More Miscellaneous: • Otoscope/Opthalmoscope - wall rechargeable - includes one each of sm, med, and large ear cones • Sundry Jars - rack of 5 installed on the wall • Various supplies - nail trimmers, suture/staple removers, thermometers, some syringes and needles in a drawer organizer to get you started

Lab Supplies:

  • Leading Edge microscope - new in 2021 - cleaned and inspected annually
  • Refractometer and Case
  • I-Pet glucometer
  • Test tube rack
  • Test tube storage/wall organizer with some blood tubes in it to get you started

POWER:

2 “Golf Cart” Batteries hooked up in sequence to power the back end/ vet clinic • This can power all outlets, ceiling fan, refrigerator, and lights for a day of appointments. I do run the front end if I need to take x-rays as I believe that pulls a little too much power for the batteries. • The alternator from the front recharges the batteries when driving or the batteries recharge when plugged into shore power. • Xantrex Inverter - takes power from the batteries and supplies it to the outlets.
