Efficient post-operative warming using air instead of blankets or pads. WARM AIR IS BEST!

Ability to cool down hyperthermic patients quickly and save lives! COOL AIR IS BEST!

Each has a heated floor with thermostatic controls on the main panel for setting and reading the exact floor temperature.

The availability of both an I.V. ceiling port and nebulizer port in a self-sustaining environment gave veterinarians improved medication administration to their patients.

If using direct oxygen, allow 3"-4" of space behind the unit for compressor ventilation and 4" on the right side for the flowmeter and oxygen hose, which are included. If using an oxygen tank allow 12" for the tank, flowmeter, and oxygen hose to the right of the ICU.

These cages are an invaluable benefit to critically ill and post-surgery veterinary patients.

It is not only an oxygen cage for animals, it accommodates one or more animals requiring extraordinary life support for clinical assistance. The patient compartment is oxygen enriched with precise controls. Carbon dioxide is continually removed, and humidity can be increased or decreased. Air temperature can be monitored closely and adjusted to make it cooler or warmer very quickly for ideal patient care. Ports allow access for IV lines and probes for other monitoring devices, and portholes in the doors allow the practitioner to reach in without opening the main doors. The animals under treatment are easy to view, as are the current environmental readings on the control panel.

They are in 4 pieces. A top which has doors that close, the cage, a mid area for storage and a base. One set has a drawer on the bottom. They break apart and can be placed into a single layer if desired. There are no casters but have a leveling base.

"In essence they are large aquariums made of all glass construction. I despise stainless steel cages and in that sense they are good cages. They work well for cats and exotic pets, however unless the cage has the ventilation built in (that is functional) the cages for dogs become hot and fog up. They've been good for the post op patients as they stay warmer. I am fear free certified and thought these cages would be effective however they get too warm for the animals. The handles have broken off the doors repeatedly and unless you have someone set them up even being slightly off prevents them from closing tight enough. Replacing the handles is very easy. I had casco send a technician out to help us with a few issues, but he wasn't very helpful other than to tell us what we already knew about the alignment. I can say that I've had them slightly over a year and they are as solid as they've ever been despite a lot of wear and use."

Very sturdy with metal gates and they connect together.

There are flaps in between each kennel to allow for the animals to move through to the other sections or will allow for them to be closed off to create more kennels. Ledge inside each individual box allows for cats to get up higher if needed.

Each kennel is 27w/22L/22H.

This would be great for a boarding clinic, rescue or non-profit that needed more space for extra kitties.

These were cleaned every day when they were being used.

Pictures show one of the individual kennels unscrewed and taken off. All kennels can have this done to allow for easier transport.

The kennels are being sold disassembled. There are 3, 3’ wide kennels, and there is 1, 4’ wide kennel which is slightly damaged.

A kennel consists of: 2 side panels (each is 6’ wide, 75” high and 1” thick), 1 rear panel (3’ or 4’ wide, 72” high and 1” thick), 1 bottom tray (6’ long, 3’ or 4’ wide and approx 6” deep), and 1 chain link door (3’ or 4’ wide, 6’ high, approx 1” deep); plus the appropriate adjustable legs and enough other hardware to bind all the kennels together.

It takes 2 people to move these efficiently. I can help the Buyer load on this end.

These kennels can be moved in a 6’ x 12’ enclosed U-haul, but barely - its a bit of a struggle because the opening (and height inside) is less than 6’ wide (or tall). I would recommend an enclosed trailer slightly bigger than 6’ x 12’, or an open 6’ x 12’ trailer (with good ratchet straps), or a small moving truck. A horse trailer works great.

This kennel was acquired from a remodeled vet's office for home use as a quarantine space for sick cats.

I shifted my focus to senior dogs and no longer foster cats. The kennel is now sitting at my indoor, temp controlled storage unit.

The bottom kennel is 26" H x 48" W
The 2 middle kennels are 16" H x 22" W
The 2 upper kennels are 22" H x 22" W

*Dimensions are rounded to the nearest inch.

Doors and latches work as they should. No major damage to any of the components.

May need a dusting, but otherwise clean.

I disassembled and reassembled it to move it from the house to storage.

(One of the screws is actually underneath the pallets, not missing.)

It comes apart fairly easily.

I imagine you could rearrange it any way you see fit or use the components separately, if you desired.

There are a bunch of extra metal pieces in the bottom kennel if you want them. I don't know what the vet's office mounted it on, but I used a couple of pallets. They aren't included.

I have two stainless steel veterinary transport cage banks for sale. These came out of an animal control van. Both have flanges for cabinet style installation. The material on the back and sides is foam insulation to reduce road noise and help maintain constant temperatures. These could be installed in a van or truck or could be used to kennel dogs. I would put them in a corner, stack them, and cover the remaining side with FRP, but that is just me. The first bank has 4 cages. The second bank has only one large cage. However, it is set up to use dividers to make 2, 3, or 4 cages. I do not have the panels needed to make the divisions, however a resourceful parson could make it happen without spending any money.

Question- Any rust?

The stainless obviously does not rust, but the steel fasteners do. Shorline uses steel fasteners on the back of the front lip of the crates. Every Shorline I've seen has this issue. (SEE VIDEO) The crates are sound and the fasteners do not affect the integrity of the crates.

Description of Item: - - - -Very nice, clean, Shor-Line Oxygen Cage KCMO on casters. Two nebulizer bottles included, and a regulator.

The regulator is by National Cylinder Gas Company, Style # 6480. It has two gauges, one measures liters per minute and the other measures lbs. per square inch.

All heavy stainless steel with a thick, clear plastic door, built-in temperature gauge on the door. The seals on the door are intact and in decent condition.

The lucite "container" on the front of the door has some minor damage, but it doesn't affect it's use. It also has a very nice rolled handle on one side so it's easy to move around.

As far as we know, this works well, but it hasn't been used in a while. I would almost classify this cage in above average condition for it's age.

"Since the early '60's the Snyder Dryer has provided groomers and bathers a safe hands-free method of drying animals. Gently heated air recirculates around and under the freshly bathed dogs or cats while they relax. Meanwhile the groomer can be working on another pet. The cage dryer concept saves labor compared to hand drying, and is appropriate for most types of coats and cuts. Temperature control adds a safety factor far beyond other hands-off drying setups. The air temperature is regulated and uniform within the compartment - there are no hot spots. Furthermore, the operator judges what temperature is appropriate for the animal inside, and sets the exact temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. Setting "fan only" dries without any heat at all. The unit can be set to count down and turn itself off. The animals inside then wait to be checked for dryness by the groomer."

"The unit's heavy duty construction includes 3/8" thick clear acrylic doors with stainless steel hardware. The laminate top makes a durable surface for working, storage or stacking. Optional casters allow mobility.

Length is 69 3/4". Depth is 28" including the doors.

Height is 32 1/4" plus 4" for optional casters. Allow for a power cord coming out of the left side. Other sizes and power cord attachments are available. A 20 amp 110v circuit with no other significant loads is recommended."

This cage dryer is on wheels and has digital time and temperature adjustable settings.

This dryer is used only for counter space right now, but is it excellent working condition.

The item does have dents, scratches, wear and tear, etc.
