Lightly used and garaged for last 10 years, well maintained, both truck and insert in very good condition. 242,000 miles.

The Portavetbox that fits in the truck bed is 20.5 " high, 59.5 " wide, and 95.5" long. It has heaters, and hot and cold running water. The fridge quit working so I took it out, but there are connectors for one if you wanted to replace it. It is in clean and excellent condition inside.

The vet box was made in 1988, it is an 8' Vet Express from Porta-Vet. When I called the company with the serial number, she said, "That's when they still made them really strong!" Both the truck and the vet unit have been kept in my garage when not in use, so they are in great shape without weather damage.

The injectors have not needed any work, it starts fast and runs great. The engine is in great shape, it hauled my two draft horses really well, a few times a year. I have recently had a new head gasket put in, it was leaking a little oil, and every few years you have to replace the U-joints. I put a new radiator in it about 3 years ago, I think. This is one of the best diesel engines Ford ever made. The vet unit hasn't had much use, so hasn't needed any seals replaced, it has been kept in a heated garage. I started out at about 25% large animal work in my mixed practice 10 years ago, last year it was down to 3 %, so you can see why I decided to sell the truck and vet unit.

Yes, this probe can be used for small ruminant reproductive management. In some cases it is superior to a transrectal probe, but in some - a tranrectal probe might be more useful (for example, early pregnancies – less than 25-30 days).
The machine was intended to be used in vet clinic, mostly for canine and feline, but was never actually used as shortly after the purchase I've had to change my line of work due to the health issue.

In answer to a question the seller said: If they do not currently have IDEXX equipment, they will probably also need to purchase a Vet Lab Station to run the tests. If they can connect the unit to the internet, the results can be entered directly into their patients charts. Idexx also has an online component, so that you can access tests ran in house and at the lab. When we last used this machine it was about $7/ run. I don't think the prices have gone up much more.

Works great has a little rust on the pole (see pictures) and a small crack in the plastic cover over the oxygen scale.

The equipment is in good condition and has been refurbished.

All of the rust removed by wire brush and then had COLD galvanized sprayed on to preserve the metal.

An Update from seller in answer to questions  1/16/17:

The unit is in the same "like-new" condition. It is quite intuitive and easy to use.

Would you be able to electronically send some images so that my doctors can inspect the image quality on the machine?  "I am not sure I can do this. The machine is not connected to the internet. It produces high quality images. When I bought it in 2005, it was the most popular model for OB-GYN docs for in-clinic ultrasounds."

What year is the unit? "I bought it new in 2005"

Do you have the manuals for the unit?  If not, is there somewhere we could download them electronically?  "The manual was on a CD ROM and I can not find it. I imagine they are available by download from Seimens. It is quite intuitive and easy to use. I upgraded to a $60,000 Oncura unit."

Is there any routine servicing you do on the unit?  If so, is it done in house or contracted out?  "None was ever needed. We have a regular radiology X-ray servicing company that comes to the clinic regularly for our X-ray. They provided us with the printer paper for the unit."

All of the equipment was purchased July 2000.

We used the system for basic endoscopy (biopsies and foreign body removal). Unfortunately, we do not have any pictures that would demonstrate the quality of the picture on the monitor.

The monitor is many years old but the picture is good and I think it would be adequate for doing the transcervical insemination.
