9/10/2019:
The engine and transmission are good. We have not had any problems with it. We have kept up with maintenance work. I don't see any reason it couldn't drive a long distance. We were still using it everyday up until 2 weeks ago. It drove really well. The biggest issue we had with it was tires because we drive on mostly back country roads so we always had the best tires put on and made sure we had tire sensors on so we knew if one was ever losing air. We had digital x-ray in there so it would be easy to install.

There is one small defect on one of the doors that was sealed with epoxy. Completely waterproof and nearly un-noticeable. There is one plastic light cover that is missing but I will replace if I can find a fixture with a clear cover. All interior lights and switches work.
Both heaters are functional. Day heater has a thermostat and runs off the battery (fan) and radiator/engine coolant pump. Night Heater is 110 with cord included. Plug in is non standard but I believe I have an adapter but am not sure.
All drawers and slides are 100% functional and well maintained.
The water pump from the tank services both hot and cold water. The hot water heat exchanger in the tank works well but remember it is heated from the radiator so if the engine has not been running, there will not be hot water.
The refrigerator is 100% functional off the battery of the truck while working or the 110 AC plug in at night. Runs off the 110 AC as soon as the cord is plugged in.
I do have the key for the door locks but have not used them in many years. Because of Wisconsin weather I will say the locks DO NOT work.
The unit is currently still on the truck so options of transfer are diverse but I am reluctant to engage outside resources unless there is serious considerations to do so.

The ECB Equine Spa is most often utilized to treat and prevent equine injuries. It has also proven effective in creating an additional revenue source by treating the horses of business clientele. Cold saltwater provides natural, drug free preventative therapy and can therefore be utilized to increase suppleness and decrease swelling / stiffness in the limbs immediately before and after competitive events and training.
The Spa is a self-contained unit requiring a 220v power sourceand holds 520 gallons of 35F saltwater. Water purity is maintained through a double filtration system and can be reused for as many as 3,000 treatments.
Cold Salt Hydrotherapy
The success of cold salt hydrotherapy is achieved through a combination of water factors:
Temperature
The temperature of the water has important therapeutic and analgesic influences: The colder the temperature of the water, the more anti-inflammatory influence and pain relief. At 35F (with chlorine and salt) micro-organic activity is eliminated and therefore transfer of infection from horse to horse is impossible. In a 10 minute treatment (above the hocks but below the stomach), the core temperature of the limb is as cold as it can get without a single degree of body temperature change in the horse.

Salt concentration and the composition of the salts in the water have an effect on the tissue response: Seawater contains varying amounts of sodium chloride (approx. 25g/l) and magnesium chloride (approx. 1g/l). The ECB Equine spa allows the introduction of higher salt levels than seawater, increasing its potential healing powers. This salt level also acts as a poultice to draw out heat and infectious fluids.
Water Depth
The depth of water increases the physical pressure exerted onto tissues: The deeper the immersion of the horse, the greater the pressure.
Aeration
Aeration of the water increases the dissolved oxygen content and creates a massaging effect. Dissolved oxygen content of saltwater is dramatically increased when temperatures fall below 400F. When aeration is introduced, the oxygen content in the water substantially increases (4 parts per million to 9-11 per million). With the increase in oxygen content, there is a corresponding drop in the horse heart rate (about 22 beats per minute). As is suggested with hyperbaric oxygen chambers, this heart rate drop may be indicative of skin absorbed oxygen which has been theorized to expedite healing.

The regular maintenance consists of cleaning filters and checking water ph/adding chemicals so when we started we happened to have a pool store around the corner and had the water checked by them (to start), after that you can just rely on water test strips.
And if service is needed, you need to have someone familiar with cold chillers. This isn’t your regular heat/air person, think of companies that work on industrial level chilling equipment.
The spa will need to be transported on a flat bed trailer and we will help load it.
We have both the tall door and the short door as well as supplies to send with.
We also have the chemicals, diapers, and some of the organic, Dead Sea salt yet that can go with.

properly. The hot and cold water tank indicators register accurately.
The electric locks work well except for the one which needs replacement.
The frig is combination 120/12 volt and switches over automatically when you plug the unit in after work. It works fine.
The day/night heater system functions properly. Daytime it works off the truck cooling system. In the evening it works off 120 volt.
The 12 volt water pump is good and strong.
There are no leaks in the unit.

The ONLY reason I am getting rid of it is because IDEXX’s chemistry can now run a progesterone- which is in high demand in my area.

The machine uses rotors. I purchase them from MWI, but every major distributor will carry them. I purchase them in packs of 12, but they can be purchased in bigger quantities such as 24 or 48 packs. Of course you get the rotors slightly cheaper if you purchase them in bulk. A vast array of rotors are available- including rotors for equine, large animal and avian.
I use the comprehensive, prep II, and T4/Chol rotors on a regular basis. The comprehensive is a full panel and the prep II is a smaller panel with Glu, Cre, BUN, ALT, ALP, TP - basically a pre-op for an otherwise healthy patient. It takes 13 minutes to get results. The rotors must be refrigerated but don't take up much space, especially the 12 packs. You can run heparinized whole blood, heparinized serum , or heparinized plasma. We use heparinized plasma and never have any problems.

Unless it has snowed or slick we leave it where it shows now. In snow or slick roads we use 4 Hi.
