Battery used to last through four six-hour surgery days. Battery now lasts through only 1-2 surgery days. Replaced with another unit.
Unit was affixed to surgery wall using Velcro. Unit is capable of measuring temperature by placing temp. sensor next to pinna but I never found this feature very accurate.

I have owned it 2 years. The unit plugs in to charge but Is designed so it can’t be used while it’s charging. The two lead ekg is wonderful - fast to hook up. The blue tooth works well. We had a dog breathing oddly after surgery. The unit was placed on a dog in recovery and the tablet display was in surgery where I could see the EKG, pulse etc. It is marked it as having one of the most sensitive lingual probs and can read oxygen on most anything. However I found that like most pulse ox it was not reliable on small 2-3lb kittens. However, it does work better then most monitors on dental cleaning patients. I know it charges in a few hours but not sure how many. When we had to start charging it nightly instead of just once a week we switched.

The good part about the DR program is when you select the species and the area of focus it tells you what to set the dial to. The van has two separate air conditioners. There is the one standard from Mercedes that blows on the driver and passenger. As well as a large overhead in the rear. (Note vents about wet table in listing photo). As long as the van is running it runs and cools well. In the Texas heat even on 105 degree days we have performed procedures in a hot asphalt parking lot with three staff inside without issue.
The surgery table is a stationary water-table, normal water-table height. The dental unit is just a table top scaler and polisher I will have to get you the brand on it. We mainly used this for wellness and concierge medicine. We leased it for a few months during the pandemic to a mobile internal medicine specialist to do some procedures in so she would not have to go into clinics.
We are ready to sell it now, would like about 30 days if possible to transition staff and inventory (drugs, computers) into new stationary practice.
We are selling it because we are purchasing a second stationary practice and need to pull the staff from it to fill spots in that practice. It is a great unit, has just been hard to keep it busy during the pandemic in a metropolitan city. Meanwhile the current stationary practice is booming therefore we are purchasing a second.
The X-ray equipment is a 2016 Min-ray wireless DR set. I know the anesthesia machine is a Midmark brand and was serviced in April 2020.
We have not had a formal appraisal done by an outside company. But based on van and customization cost, cost of equipment in the van etc it is around 148,000. We have put an estimated $8000 in it in the last year putting new marine batteries in it, new converter for power, and rear AC line upgrades.
Yes it does come with Tuttnauer autoclave with very little use, actually sitting in storage as we used the one in the stationary practice at the end of the day rather than hauling that one around.
Rough idea to run it in full sun on a hot day varies, the only thing you would be using is diesel while the van is idling throughout the day. Right now it varies depending on how high you have the AC turned up etc. But you can expect to use 1/4 to 1/2 tank of diesel while idling for a day.

I have used this machine very little over the years unfortunately - just used it to scan some tendons.
The unit itself is in good overall condition - just some cosmetic marks and light scratches to the exterior.
There is at one corner a very slight lifting of the black film that is wrapped over the transducer head but this has no effect on transducer function.
Please note that some of the pictures posted show the screen with weird lighting effects. These are just artefacts as the screen functions without any trouble - it was impossible to capture screen shots without these weird effects occurring.

I don't know much about this system. The Vet that used this one has been gone for awhile and the Tech we have hasn't used it much. It does not have a battery. It would need to be plugged in to use but it did take pretty good pictures and as far as I know is in good working order.
I do think the settings are equine only but it can scan small animal with the depth and resolution. The probes that come with it are more for large animal so for small it would probably need a probe for that (one more concave) but the pictures should be good for small animal tendons with the probe we have

The plate is a Varian PaxScan that was purchased through Soundeklin. Soundelkin (Sound) is currently one of the largest x-ray manufacturers. It will need a table and generator to be fully functional. I believe there are some serviceable components within this plate but I am not sure as I have never had to deal with repair. When completely installed with an x-ray table, you will use the computer and software program provided to input patient information, prepare the plate, then when you step on the pedal the x-ray image will pop up on the computer screen within a couple seconds. For installation, I would have an IT/x-ray professional complete it.

The warranty would not roll over to new owner. They would have to sign up for the program. I think it cost around seven to $800 per quarter. I feel it is a great deal, as you always have free replacements if you’re part of the program. But I am confident that if the buyer did not want to participate in that program, the machines will serve them well. I have all of our maintenance schedules with lots of assessories that will come with it if buyer elects to purchase the equipment. I also have a brand new test kit, that cost around $500 I will send with it.

This is a processor and software only. It was used regularly (5 to 20 rads a week) until 12/20/20 and worked great until we installed our new one. It takes the cassettes and processes the images very quickly (less than a minute). You probably could connect it to a network, but we did not. Instead, we would save the files onto a jump drive and attach them to emails on a separate computer. The computers run Windows XP.

The eleven photos show all the equipment that comes with the insufflator/illumination source including multiple sized trochars and probes. If it's in the pictures, it's in the box ready to go. As disclosed, we never used the unit and the additional probes came in dented/smushed BOXES yet the probes and trochars themselves were packed in fitted-foam and are in excellent condition. The entire package was a little over $20k in 2006 and we are happy and still using - and would never part with! - the ear-specific portion of the system. The $1K asking price reflects a 10 cents on the dollar recoup. If one does rigid endoscopy, it's a steal!
Any of the tools available could be used for Transcervical Insemination?
My practice is the antithesis of breeding so I honestly could not say. The hand held endoscope does not have a second port - it's basically just for illumination. We are including the grasper/biopsy instrument as we have been able to "feed" it alongside the scope when doing nasal work. I assume you could do the same for insemination straws but have never done so.
If they were asking about the insufflator and the rigid endoscopy. Again, the insufflator and associated gadgets were never used by me and were sold to me as new as part of an endoscopy package that I bought for the ear system. Insufflators use CO2 canisters (which,like O2 need to be obtained from your medical gas supplier) and are typically used for abdominal exploration/biopsies. The insufflator uses the gas to move organs and tissue away from the site you are interested in so you can see/work on the area. I could see it being used for insemination (but again, NEVER HERE) I was more interested in the ear portion of the package.

Additional doctor info: "I use this machine for every surgery except cat spays. This machine eases surgical effort greatly. I’ve had it for eight years and it’s spotless. It has never been dropped or damaged. I do not use the Covidian stand—mine lives on a rolling stainless steel cart that is just right for the footprint.
The neatest feature is the Instant Response Technology. It provides improved performance at lower power settings, minimizing the risk of tissue damage or neuromuscular stimulation. Also, it decreases the need to turn up the generator. This allows the generator to adjust automatically, responding to tissue changes. It recognizes changes in tissue 200 times per second and adjusts voltage and current accordingly.
The EZ generator has a Standard bipolar mode, which I only use for enucleations. No matter what approach you use to the retrobulbar space, there is no more fumbling with clamps and ligature for the tie off. Simply insert the bipolar tongues behind the globe and zap it off. My time for a complete enucleation from start to finish is 15 minutes.
These 3 booklets will be sent with the machine-- they are quite in-depth. They give guidance as to settings, but not exact numbers. Dr. says that the machine itself has the ability to know what kind of tissue it is cutting through and makes adjustments as necessary-- this is it's Instant Response technology, of which he speaks very highly. He also says that as you cut you will evaluate and make changes when you see the effect on the tissue. He says he didn't change the settings very often from one surgery to another.
