Electrical & Climate System
The van uses a Xantrex Freedom SW 3012 3,000-watt inverter connected to three AGM batteries, eliminating the need for a separate generator for most normal operations.
The batteries charge while the vehicle is running or when connected to shore power through the included 30-amp cord and 110V adapter.
All three AGM batteries were replaced in 2025. The vehicle battery was replaced in September 2026, when the van also received an oil change and tune-up.
A roof-mounted air-conditioning unit was installed in 2024.
For higher electrical demands, including extended use of the air conditioning or heat-producing equipment, the engine can be left running.

Maintenance & Recent Use
The van was used for mobile veterinary house calls approximately four days per week from June 2025 through May 2026. It was not used for surgery during that period.
Since being taken out of regular service, the engine has been started regularly and the van has been driven short distances for maintenance.
The anesthesia and other veterinary equipment should receive normal annual servicing before being placed back into full clinical use. The equipment was functional when last used.
Reason for Sale
The van was originally part of a national corporate mobile veterinary business. After that company closed, two vans and related equipment were purchased by the veterinarian who had previously operated one of the vans as an employee.
The veterinarian later used this van in an independent mobile practice. Due to life changes, the practice has now transitioned to a stationary clinic, so the mobile vans and equipment are being sold.
A comparable new mobile veterinary clinic can cost approximately $140,000 to $200,000+, often with a lengthy build time, and that price may not include the veterinary equipment.
